Once of my favorite place to eat at . Great establishment, great customer service, the food is really good , they got all the seasoning and portions right I totally recommend stopping by and have a great time and meal here.
We decided to give this place another try since my fiancé was in the mood for it. This time, I ordered the stew beef but forgot to add a side of plantains. It's okay though. I'll make up for it next time! The stew beef was sooo tender. I mean "cut with a fork" tender. The meat just melted in my mouth. I was really impressed with that. I also loved the big chunks of potatoes and carrots. They were soft and tender. This time, I also received a massive portion of rice. I wished I got a little more meat and less rice because it's just so tasty. The rice is definitely good but not my absolute favorite. I feel like it tasted slightly different than my last visit. The food was really good though. I do think the plate was a little pricey compared to other places I've ordered from for the same portion. I'd definitely visit again and try another dish.
If I want Island food and not cook it myself, I come here. The pernil lunch is very filling with rice and beans. My go to order is 1 beef empanada with the SMALL pernil for a whopping $8.50. The stew chicken also good.
